The smart way to combine a hotspot solution with your billing system
Easy hotspot access for hotel guests via room number and last nameThis option simplifies the charging of hotspot fees. The LANCOM Public Spot option is an add-on extra that can be installed on LANCOM devices. In combination with a property management system (PMS), it enables guests to register and pay for Internet guest access. This is carried out via the FIAS interface, which provides direct communication between a LANCOM device and FIAS-based systems such as Micros Fidelio. Consequently, the LANCOM hotspot solution offers enormous flexibility in the design of tariff structures: You can decide, for instance, whether Internet usage is automatically charged to the guest's room bill, or if free Internet can be provided to conference participants who have been given an appropriate voucher.
