The EX-3504 is the most powerful eS-ATA 2 RAID 0/1 controller to accommodate Serial-ATA 2 hard drives with the new technology of
PCI Express. Serial ATA is a high-speed serial link replacement fort the parallel ATA attachment of mass storage devices. The serial link
employed is a high-speed differential layer that utilizes gigabit technology and 8b/10b encoding. The current data rate is 1.5Gb/s and
3.0Gb/s. It will support 6Gb/s in the near future. He support RAID 0 (stripping), RAID 1 (mirroring) and RAID 0+1. The EX-3504 supports
four external eS-ATA 2 ports. It is the right choice for a PCI Express to Serial-ATA 2 and eS-ATA 2 versatile devices.
